Question:
If some one sets off on a journey and wants to take the Qur’an-e-Kareem with her/him in a bag that she/he is carrying on the shoulder; can one carry the Qur’an in such a way? Would it make some disrespect to the holy book?
Answer:
It can be carried in that manner. The bag portion must not be too low and it must not be kept behind the back.
