Sayyiduna Jubayr ibn Mut’im radiyallahu anhu reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “The one who severs his family ties will not enter Paradise.” [Sahih Bukhari]
Question:
At this moment my family and I do not speak due to personal reasons. Because of this, they have decided to withhold my share of the inheritance.
I seek the correct advice on the matter moving forward. Is your advice to just let it be and not worry about what’s my HAQ?

Answer:
Whatever inheritance is Islamically due to you is your divinely given right.
It is not permissible for anyone to unjustifiably withhold that right from you. Whatever differences exist between people have no bearing on the distribution of inheritance.
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam has stated, “Whoever cuts off the inheritance (due to an heir), Allah will cut off their inheritance of Jannah.”[Shuabul Imaan #7594]
You should not simply let the matter be.
In addition, you should make an effort to resolve the dispute and maintain good relations with each other.
